Bill Roberts

Bill Roberts was the founder of The Roberts Law Firm, the single largest tax litigation firm in the Dallas/Ft. Worth area. In 2011, Bill was named one of the best attorneys in Dallas by D Magazine. An incredibly driven and passionate attorney, Bill had a long-standing love affair with nature. He summited some of the tallest peaks in the 48-contiguous U.S. states and spent vacations climbing the mountains and hiking the trails of Telluride, CO. When he wasn't skiing or hiking, he was enjoying time on The Invictus, a 55-foot sea trawler he and his wife, Lisa, piloted. Bill was at his most serene when behind the wheel of The Invictus, exploring his long-held love of the sea.
Bill fought off the advancement of melanoma for 15 years through appropriate conventional and holistic treatments. His success was inspiring and encouraging to those battling cancer. He helped sponsor the Texas Trio Classic last year in order to further the development of cancer research. Unfortunately, in the summer of 2011, the tumors returned. Bill succumbed to the disease on January 2, 2012. His generosity and passion for life will continue to live on through his family.
