Our tournament director Rick Reed's sister Randi is currently organizing a charity golf tournament on October 22, 2011 at the Columbia Lakes Golf Course in West Columbia, Texas to benefit the National Foundation for Ectodermal Dysplasias or NFED. Ectodermal Dysplasias is a genetic disorder that effects the nails, hair, sweat glands, and teeth.
Randi's son Weston was diagnosed with this disorder as a baby which motivated her to raise awarness of this genetic condtion that occurs every 7 in 10,000 births. The money raised by this event goes directly to NFED and will be used to improve the lives of children with Ectodermal Dysplasias or to research a cure.
We saw a tremendous display of generosity form all our supporters in this years torunament. We encourage you to take a look at the Weston Walker SMILES Golf Classic website and help to spread the word!
Thank you!
